We found pockets of Pacific island paradise on all edges of this Hawaiian island. Waves crashing beneath swaying palms with shiny fronds were the most common elements that we never grew tired of seeing in the backgrounds of postcard-worthy views. The foregrounds were hosts to a massive sea turtle laying eggs, surfers—and bodysurfers—catching waves, and gorgeous flowers, of course!
